Terry Lee Simmons, age 76, of Amity passed away Monday, August 11, 2025. He was born February 2, 1949 in Lodi, Arkansas to the late Clifton Lincoln and Zelma Rie (Turner) Simmons. Terry enjoyed watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke. He loved spending time with the grandkids and the great-grandkids and going on vacations with the family. Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jacky “Butch” Simmons.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Simmons; daughter, Melanie McClure (Travis); son, Scotty Simmons; granddaughters, Amanda Plyler (Robert) and Santana Mack (Bryan Ward); great-grandchildren, Reece Cuellar, Nathan Plyler, and Natalie Plyler; great-granddog, Lander; siblings, Vicki Simmons, Betty Graves, Linda Scholten; Retha Vaughn, Sheila Mack, Mickey Simmons, and Kim Evans; and a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be no services.
