We all loved Mark. He was a great person and a friend to everyone. He was a dedicated WN employee. Socializing after work and at work events we all came together as one big family! He will be missed. Kindest regards to everyone.

My condolences on Mark's passing. He was boisterous, his laughter was contagious. I remember seeing him the break room reading the newspaper. He always made time to talk with everyone. There was only 1 Mark of his grand character. Rest in peace Mark. I'm sure you are playing chess in heaven and teaching the art of the game!

Our hearts are filled with wonderful memories and times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Your love of children showed everytime you had the opportunity to teach them chess. Cheers Mark!

My cousin, Mark, is the one who got me interested in chess. We played correspondence chess back in the day when each move came on a small postcard and we moved paper pieces in a multi page book. I always knew he was smart, and was sad when he moved to Texas.

The last time I seen my uncle Mark he beat me at chess 3 games in a row in just a few moves. He was very smart. I hope he had a great life.

My uncle was a smartie, always curious and learning. No matter how many times I come across these things, they always remind me of my uncle Mark: San Antonio, Southwest Airlines, the game of chess, dark beards, and big, boisterous laughs.

My uncle Mark played chess and other board and card games with me growing up. I also remember riding in his little blue car (a VW, maybe?) to Detroit Tigers baseball games and Red Wings hockey games while he and my dad predicted winners and complained about parking. Most of all, I know he loved his mother and father and take comfort in knowing he's reunited with them now-- eating sugar cookies and watching reruns of M*A*S*H*. Rest in peace.
