Sarah Heinsch Obituary
Sarah's presence was a source of inspiration to those who knew her. She was known for her determination and intelligence, always approaching life with a caring heart and an amazing sense of resilience. Her strength shone through in every challenge she faced, and her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She found joy in many things-playing hockey brought out her competitive spirit; reading offered moments of reflection; travel opened new horizons; and time spent with family and friends filled her days with laughter and love. Whether sharing stories over coffee, quiet moments with her goldendoodle Crosby, binge watching Netflix, visiting a vineyard, enjoying a good concert, the breathtaking views of the beach, or catching a sunset Sarah cherished these moments and connections deeply.
Sarah is remembered by her parents; her sisters Heidi (Chris) Dehmer and Lisa (Kevin) Wright; her nieces and nephews Chase and Megan Teachout and Elizabeth and Christopher Dehmer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 25, 2025, from 05:00 PM to 08:00 PM at Mississippi Crossings 307 E River Pkwy. Time for sharing will begin at 07:00 PM. To honor Sarah's passion for Minnesota sports guests are welcome to wear something that represents their favorite team.

I´m not usually one to be without words, but I am. All I can say right now is that Heaven has one hell of a goalie now. So many weeks at camp and so many hockey games, and everything in between. From age 4 to 44, it´s been a ride, Sarah. Spunky and Punky, forever!

I have known Sarah and the Heinsch family nearly my entire life. They were there through so many amazing times and hard times in my life. They were part of a neighborhood community that helped raise my sister and I. Sarah was an inspiration to me and taught me inclusion at a very young age. She showed me that nothing can hold back a determined mind and soul. She was funny, bright, kind, joyful, and so much more! A couple of my favorite memories with Sarah are: riding on her wheelchair, go kart races, and times spent with my dad who had a special connection with her. I know she gets to reunite with dad now and that is beautiful!
