Rosalie Fulks Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosalie Ann Fulks, 86, of Olathe, KS. Rosalie passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Azria Health Center in Olathe, KS.

Rosalie was born on February 22, 1938, in Eudora, KS, to Simeon Joseph and Hazel Dell (Wilson) Rothberger. She graduated from Eudora High School in 1956 and later received her Associates degree in Paralegal studies from Johnson County Community College.

Throughout her working years, Rosalie held various positions, including and retiring from a secretary at Fort Leavenworth, a supervisor for Manpower managing KU athletic events, and a dedicated employee at KU Army ROTC and NCS. She was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to her roles.

Rosalie leaves behind her two children, Mark (Nancy) Fulks and Stephanie Liebig, five grandchildren; Nicholaus, Lauren, Joshua, Brandon, and Sydnie, ten great-grandchildren, and her sister, Joan (Charles) Shelley.

Rosalie's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew her. She will be missed but remembered for her dedication and hardworking nature. Rest in peace, Rosalie.

Memorial contributions may be made in Rosalie's name to the Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
