Guillermo Nava Obituary

Guillermo Nava
03/10/1934 - 07/13/2025
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Guillermo Nava, a beloved father, cherished friend, and a man of extraordinary spirit, who left us on July 13, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on March 10, 1934, Guillermo lived a life rich in adventure, camaraderie, and unwavering love for the great outdoors.

A dedicated hunter and golfer, Guillermo found joy in the whisper of the trees and the laughter shared on the golf course. His passion for gardening nurtured beauty in the world around him, creating sanctuaries of color and life. His heart beat in rhythm with nature, for he treasured all animals, especially his beloved pets, who brought warmth and companionship to his days.

As a proud member of the military police stationed in Hawaii, Guillermo displayed a fierce dedication to service and loyalty. His time training with the Navy SEAL Team I remains a testament to his strength and perseverance-qualities that endeared him to many and shaped the course of his life.

In celebrating Guillermo's life, we reflect on the indelible mark he left on all who had the privilege to know him. His stories, laughter, and kindness will resonate in our hearts forever, reminding us to seek beauty and adventure in every moment.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Blanca Gloria Nava; parents, Ramon & Dominga Nava; siblings, Antonia Sanchez, Maria Popp, Ramon Nava Jr. and Esther Gonzalez.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Edna (Edmundo) Garza, David (Olga) Nava, Ida Nava, George (Gina) Nava, and Edward (Laura) Nava; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Oscar Nava Sr., Adelina Nava, and Gloria Nava, best friend of more than 80 years Beto Jimenez; also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
