Jack Pfister Obituary

Jack L. Pfister, 66, of LaGrange, died Friday, August 1, 2003, at Baptist Hospital East. Mr. Pfister retired from General Electric Appliance Park, where he was a welder for 35 years. He was a veteran of the US Army and member of Covenant Methodist Church, LaGrange. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carol Pfister; daughters, Tammy Brinkley (Jim), Melisa Pfister (Doug Embry), Heather Newcom (Keith) and Beth Burget (Charles); brother, June Pfister; sisters, Helen Moran, Rosalie Pfister and Polly Sharp; and 10 grandchildren. His sister, Doris Davison, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2003, in the chapel of Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, LaGrange. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial gifts may go to the American Diabetes Association or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
