Burton Webb Obituary

Burton F. Webb Jr.

December 12, 1943 - July 7, 2025

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Burton F. Webb Jr., a beloved husband, father, and friend who left the world on July 7, 2025. at the age of 81.

Burton was born in Hayward, California on December 12th, 1943, his family then moved to Twin Falls, Idaho when he was 5 years old where he spent the rest of his days. Burton was a proud member of the Army Reserves, being enlisted on February 17th, 1961. He served in the Reserves from 1961-1969. After serving his country, he decided to join forces with his father and began working for him full-time at Burton Webb and Sons Quality Roofers Inc.

Burton Webb and Sons Quality Roofers Inc. represented a legacy of high standards and compassion. Burton's journey began in 1975, as he balanced preserving his father's excellence with forging his own path. With every job, he aimed to make a difference, donating roofs to those in need and local causes he believed in, embodying a spirit that honored his father's memory. His generosity went far beyond roofing; he sponsored multiple community programs simply out of the desire to give back.

Burton lived life by strength, laughter, and a cowboy spirit. Burton was a proud car enthusiast. He could often be found by a vintage beauty, his hands constantly busy and his heart full. Whether it was boating, water skiing, tubing, or with a fishing rod in his hands, he found peace by the water.

Burton was a man who wore cowboy boots like armor and a cowboy hat like a crown because he wasn't called king of the river for nothing. Those pieces were symbols of his grit, pride, and his unwavering sense of self. But more than that, he was a provider in every sense of the word. He worked hard and gave everything he had to ensure his family never went without. Burton went above and beyond not just out of duty but out of deep, unwavering love.

He had a gift of storytelling, his stories never failed to fill a room with laughter. His infectious laugh was one that you could never forget. People listened not because the stories were good, but because the stories were his. His presence was strong, his standards were in his desire to do right by his father, and his family was a guiding force through his life.

Beyond his devotion, Burton had a generous heart. He quietly gave back. Burton donated to charity and helped wherever he could. He believed in lifting others up with kindness and left a mark on many people's lives.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for every memory, every laugh, and every story told. In honoring Burton, let us carry forward his love of the open road, the stillness of water, the pride in hard work, the joy of a well-told story, the melody of classic rock 'n' roll, and the love of a margarita on a hot day.

He will be deeply missed but truly never forgotten.

Burton F. Webb Jr. is preceded by his Father Burton Sr., Mother Irene, and two Brothers, James and Richard Webb

Burton is survived by his wife, Shirley Webb; his children: Michael McBride, Burtina Lloyd, Sheri Lassiter, Lisa Fisher, Burton Webb III, Toni Webb, Kayla Baker, Kristopher Webb; his loving grandchildren ;and his sister, Loretta Webb-Hartey
