Patricia Lewis, 77, of Girard,passed away on December 12, 2024, at the O'Brien Memorial in Masury, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 8, 1947, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph and Jacqueline (Sabatini) Palermo.
Patricia's education journey began at Niles High School, from which she proudly graduated in 1965. She further honed her skills in nursing at Choffin Nursing School, where she laid the foundation for a career that would span decades. As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Warren General Hospital, Patricia's work was not just a job; it was a testament to her nurturing spirit and endless dedication to providing comfort and care to those in need.
Beyond her professional life, Patricia found joy in simple pleasures. Her love for the thrill of casinos, the excitement of playing bingo, and her passion for cooking filled her life with happiness and warmth. Friends and family alike fondly remember the delicious meals she prepared, often served with a side of laughter and love.
Patricia will be missed deeply by those fortunate enough to know her. She leaves to cherish her memory, her adoring husband and love of her life, Robert Lewis whom she married on July 29, 1966; her children Robert (Lisa) Lewis and Joseph (Amy) Lewis, sisters, Jacqueline Palermo, Linda Culver , and granddaughter Amanda (Ronald) Lewis.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Palermo.
In her memory, family and friends will gather for viewing on December 16, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home and also on December 17th from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Rose Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM.
As we mourn the loss of Patricia Lewis, we celebrate a life filled with love, kindness, and laughter. Her spirit will forever remain in our hearts, a reminder of the compassion she so willingly shared with those around her.
