George Jackson Obituary

On January 28, 2026 George E Jackson fell asleep in death at the age of 82.

George was born on June 13, 1943, to George W Jackson and Gladys L Jackson (Thomas) in Apopka, Florida.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Bertra Lee Jones, and stepchildren Margi, Crystal, and Kenny (Tammy), and grandchildren Megan (Ian), Deanna (Justin), Cassie and Harley.

He is preceded in death by his stepson Rocky Lee, and grandson Christopher.

If you ever wanted to put a smile on his face, just mention his Great Grandkids Autum, Junior (Lesa), Sarah, Karizma, Hunter, Chrispen, Cason, and Ronin, and Great Grandson Alexander.

George was an over the road truck driver most of his life and he loved to tell stories about hauling tequila from Mexico to Canada, and picking up hot sauce in Louisiana and picking up plants in Miami, and how much he loved his travels throughout the United States.

George loved to dote over Bertie and take care of her, something the family loved seeing and much appreciated. He was loved by many and will be truly missed.
