Thomas George Lennon, Sr., "Tom," of St. Charles, IL died November 5th, 2025, with his family by his side.
He was born June 2nd, 1957, in Joliet to Pete and Ina Lennon. He graduated from Joliet Central and would work as a traveling lineman (a "boomer") around the area until he took a permanent position with the city of St. Charles' Electric Department. He was a dedicated, hard-working lineman for 30 years in this town. He was a long-time member of the IBEW Local 196 and the Moose Lodge.
In retirement, Tom would spend his winters in Florida; golfing and soaking up the warm sun at the beach. He loved his Three Stooges and all the family trips they've enjoyed over many years. And he loved to watch and cheer on the Chicago Bears – win or lose.
Tom is survived by his wife, Vicki, and his two children, Breanna (Dan Rohlicek) and Thomas Jr., a granddaughter, Baylee, and his sister, Cheryl (Dunn) and brother, Steve, both in Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday November 15th, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. – 1:30 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home Saint Charles (405 East Main Street) with the memorial service to follow at 1:30 P.M.

Sorry for the late entry. I saw Tom had past when I looked him up yesterday. I met Tom in 1978 at seneca il while working for a line contractor building a 345 tower line. Tom and I were young kids trying to brake into the trade linework.
Eventually we applied through local 51 in Illinois. We were accepted and sent to Albat (american line builders association training) in Ohio for three weeks without pay. Tom and I came back and began our careers and our paths didn't cross much after that. But for the 8 months we worked together we had allot of fun. I found a picture of our class in Ohio albat training. Tom is center picture all the way to the right I am below him in the bottom corner right. My condolences to all . Rest In Peace Tom !!!
