Ronald A. Fromm, 78, of Mediapolis passed away Monday, April 28, 2025, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, at the Mediapolis Global Methodist Church. Following the services, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Mediapolis American Legion # 243 in memory of Ronald.

Ronald Allen Fromm was born on July 16, 1946, in Des Moines County, Iowa the son of William and Margaret (Calgren) Fromm. He was a graduate of Mediapolis High School. On Nov. 8, 1965, Ronald was drafted by the United States Marines. Ronald served from 1965-1967 during the Vietnam War.
He was united in marriage to Marjorie Ruth Anderson, who passed on April 2, 1988. On Oct. 25, 1991, Ronald was united in marriage to Bonnie Picking in Mediapolis.
He worked for J.I. Case for 30 years, owned and operated a backhoe and dump truck and provided snow removal for many people and businesses in the Mediapolis area. He was a member of the Mediapolis Global Methodist Church, American Legion #243 and was also a Mediapolis volunteer fireman.
Ronald was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and enjoyed fishing, country music, playing cards and being a Good Samaritan lending a helping hand to others.
Ronald will be missed by his wife, Bonnie of Mediapolis and step-children, Lori (Rick) Freitag of Mediapolis and Scott (Jennifer) Grover of Burlington.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Marjorie and three brothers, Jack Fromm, James Fromm and Richard Fromm.
