Donald Miller Obituary

Oct. 30, 1932 - Aug. 11, 2025 Titusville, Ill. - Donald Miller lived a life defined by quiet strength, steadfast commitment, and a deep, enduring love for his family. He was born into a close-knit home to Orville and Faye Miller and grew up surrounded by the strong bonds of family. Donald was one of five children and was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry (married to Johnita) and Jerry (married to Sharon, who survives him), as well as his sister Betty. His youngest and only surviving sibling is his beloved sister, Judy Jami Miller. Donald served his country with honor in the United States Navy during the Korean War, exemplifying the values of duty, courage, and quiet resilience. After his service, he began working at the Ohio State Powerhouse, building the foundation for the life he would later share with his own family. In 1965, Donald moved to Florida to work for Rockwell - a decision that marked a new chapter of opportunity and growth. It was there that he and Alice Jane Miller built their life together. In 1966, they welcomed their son, Hal - a true reflection of their love and partnership. Hal later married Samantha, who Donald loved as a daughter. Their bond was deep and unwavering, and in his later years, Samantha stood by his side as both caregiver and family. Alongside Jane, she lovingly cared for him until his final days - a testament to the strength of their relationship and the love he inspired in those closest to him. Donald was a man of principle - loyal, hardworking, and devoted to those he loved. His legacy lives on in the family he supported and the values he quietly lived every day. He is deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
