CARDINGTON - Lucille Marie Ebert, age 95 of Cardington, passed away on June 7, 2025. She was born on August 14, 1929, in Cardington to Carl and Inez (Rengert) Ruehrmund.
Lucille was baptized on September 13, 1929, and confirmed on May 28, 1944. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran faith, having been a member of St. Paul Lutheran church in her youth. Lucille graduated from Cardington High School as the salutatorian of the class of 1947. After graduation she worked as a stenographer in the sales department at Hydraulic Press Manufacturing Company in Mt. Gilead. On November 20, 1949, she married Frank Ebert, and they worked side by side on their dairy farm for 45 years until he passed away on February 5, 1995. She is survived by her children and their spouses,

Lucille enjoyed gardening and maintaining her lawn as well as reading as her hobbies.
