Mr. Paul Clinton Herndon, of Warrenton, MO, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025. He was a life long resident of Warren County and was born on December 11, 1946, in Warrenton to the late Homer and Arline (nee:Thompson) Herndon. Paul had reached the age of 78 years.
Paul was united in marriage to Lois Davis on September 20, 1965. They spent 60 wonderful years together and was blessed with three beautiful children. He was employed by Ford Motor Company for over 30 years. Paul enjoyed being outside working in his yard, fishing with family and friends, and playing washers. He loved going to Uncle Oran's garage. He spent many hours there, either just hanging out, or working on old cars. He also enjoyed going to the casino. Paul's deepest love was for his family. He enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Paul Herndon was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Arline; four great grandchildren, Aurelia Rose, Harley Deloice, Mason William and Malakai Izaq Michael; four siblings, Dale Herndon, Martha Lampkin, Robert Herndon and William Herndon. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois Herndon; his three children, Gena Herndon, Paul Herndon Jr. and David Herndon; grandchildren, Charity, Tyler, Kylie, Kassidy, David, Damon, Justine, Andrew, Shade, Creek and Drennen; great grandchildren, Skylar, Leelynn, McKenzie, Wyatt, Ellie, Seanna, Payton, Jenson, Ryleigh, August, Sadie, Cory, Journey, Laney and Brian; one brother, Orie Herndon; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. A Celebration of Life Service will also be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to be give to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Paul. Online condolences may be given at martinfuneral.net
