Kathy Jo Meyer
White Hall - Kathy Jo "Nana" Meyer, 71, of White Hall passed away with her friends and family by her side Monday, July 21, 2025, at 5:16 p.m. at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born, June 14, 1954, in Carrollton, the daughter of Troy and Eleanor Clark.
She was the loving mother of Patsi (Rick) Hamm of Roodhouse, Tara Hall and Brett Clark both of White Hall. Her surviving special longtime friend, Dave; beloved grandchildren, Kelsey Clark of White Hall, Lindsay (Wes) Tillery of Carrollton, Brady Price of White Hall, Jaiden Clark of North Pole, AK, Rebekah Hamm of Roodhouse, Ethan Clark and Grayson Buchanan both of Hillview; great grandchildren, Landan Price, Kayson Tillery, Odin Gilliam and twin girls, Paisley and Paityn arriving soon. She is also survived by brother, Gene (Esther) Clark of NJ and sister, Jan (Cyd) Clark of CO. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dennis Clark.
Kathy was an amazing friend, boss, sister and the most loving mother who always put family first. She truly enjoyed being a mother and took great pride in being so. She loved taking road trips with her cousin, Carolyn, and meeting her other cousins, Linda and Becky for holiday shopping and lunch. She enjoyed meeting up with her best friends, Short, Lisa and Vicky for food and laughs. Sunday dinners were especially special because she got to spend time with her family. Kathy was a North Greene High School graduate. She managed Kerr Mcgee and Casey's in Jacksonville for many years and then later retired from Dr. Hoff Dentistry in Waverly. The family would like to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers for their mom and also a special thank you to Lisa Bridges Buchanan for her continuous help with all of us over the last 30 years.
A celebration will be held 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3. 2025, at the Masonic Lodge in White Hall. Memorials are suggested to the First responders of White Hall. Daws Family Funeral Home in Roodhouse is assisting the family.
