Marie Kathleen Sadowski (nee Soehnlein), 77, of Westfield, NJ passed away on Tuesday October 1, 2024 at Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ. Born in Queens, NY to the late Joseph and Mary (Meehan) Soehnlein, Marie had been a resident of Westfield for more than 50 years. She was a member of the St. Anne’s Church Rosary Society, and the Holy Trinity Senior Social Club. Marie enjoyed reading and trips to the Catskills in New York. She was preceded in death by her dear son: Michael. She is the beloved wife of husband James W. Sadowski, devoted mother of daughter: Doreen L. Sadowski, dear sister of Patricia Murphy and husband Kevin. She is also survived by nieces: Kathleen Skamangas (Antonios), Colleen Murphy, grandniece: Kloe, and grandnephews; Andrew, Matthew, Antonios Jr., Christian, and Athan. Marie’s visitation will be on Friday October 4th, from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM, with wake service at 6:15PM at Gray Funeral Home, 318 E. Broad St., Westfield. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:15PM Saturday October 5, 2024 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Westfield. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Iselin.
