Timothy Heller Obituary
SCHENECTADY - Timothy John Heller took his final bow on Friday, February 21, 2025. Born on August 17, 1955, in Baltimore, Md., Tim spent most of his life in Schenectady, N.Y. A SUNY Cobleskill graduate, he worked as a supervisor at SUNY Systems Computer Center and served as a volunteer firefighter with South Schenectady Fire Department. Known for his protective nature and creativity, Tim found joy in his later years, living a quieter life surrounded by family.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sally Heller; daughter, Stacy Heller; son, John Heller; and daughter-in-law, Danielle Heller; grandchildren, Eric Heller, Claire Heller, and Luke Heller; sister, Barb Heller-Rogers; and brother, Jim Heller.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 4, from 5 to 6 p.m., at DeMarco Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam, followed by a service at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, N.Y. 12204. Condolences can be posted at demarcostonefuneralhome.com
