Adrian Johnico, 49 was called home to heaven on May 21, 2025. Born on May 19, 1976 in Sun Valley, California to Thelma (Nevarez) and Eugene Johnico Jr. A devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother, and a faithful friend, Adrian was the foundation of his family and a guiding light in his community, He shared 25 years of love and partnership with his wife, Jessie, and together they raised three beautiful children; Carson, Maggie, and Aidan. He was their hero, their provider, and their greatest inspiration. Adrian built a life rooted in faith, love and unwavering commitment to those he loved. To know him was to witness quiet strength, servant leadership, and a deep connection to family and culture. His presence filled every room with calm and purpose. He was their center of gravity and his absence is felt in every breath. In the wake of his passing, the grief is immeasurable. His absence leaves a deep silence, a space felt in every part of the lives he held together with love. Yet, even in sorrow, his spirit remains a steady presence in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. We hold to the promise of scripture:" The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." - Psalm 34:18
Adrian's legacy of love, strength, and services will continue in his family and all whose lives were touched by his, so..."Get up, take a picture, and tell someone to have a good day!"
Adrian is survived by his wife, Jessie of the home; children, Carson Johnico, Maggie Johnico and boyfriend Seth Springfield, and Aidan Johnico; brother, Eugene Johnico; sisters, Melody Johnico, Deborah Yockey, Felicia Johnico, Lesley Pebworth, and JoAnn Zucker; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and a host of friends too numerous to count.
Pallbearers are Cody Nail, Rob Garrison, WJ Ragland, John Bray, Walter Blevins, Daniel Garrison, Ronnie Ben, and Lonnie Eden.
Honorary Pallbearers are Melvin Emmert, and Rocky Emmert
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 28th, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at McCarn Funeral Chapel in Clayton, Oklahoma.
Services will be on Thursday, May 29th, 2025 at 2:00PM at Clayton School Gymnasium with Bro. Chris Dennis officiating. Internment will follow at Stanley Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.

Alan and I, met Adrian at the car show in Clayton 2018. We were visiting my Aunt Delores Dye during Memorial Day weekend. Adrian was very delighted to meet us just as we were too. He had not met anyone in his family from Kansas. Our last trip to Talihina was Labor Day weekend 2023. We visited Aunt Dolores and Eugene´s (Butch) graves. We made plans with Adrian to visit with one another but unfortunately it didn´t happen. Through the many pictures and conversations we had on Facebook with me and other family members in Wichita we got to know him. Such a great husband and father, hardworking provider for his family and religious. It was amazing how he could build many things. What an amazing person and what a remarkable life. Sending love, thoughts, and prayers to Jessie, Carson, Maggie, Aiden, Eugene, Felecia, Melody and other family members.
