Adrienne Anne Spackman (nee Kofron), 99, of South Euclid, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025.

Adrienne was the devoted wife of the late Thomas Spackman (deceased, 1983). She was the beloved mother of Kristen Tash (George), Elaine Eberlin, Mindy Gromek (deceased) (Richard, deceased), Timothy Spackman (Jean), Kelly Tonti (deceased) and Susan Pekoc (deceased). She was a deeply loved and proud grandmother of 21, and great-grandmother of 25. She was the best aunt and mother-in-law and surrogate mom/grandma to all!

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 29, 1926, Adrienne was the middle daughter of the late Helen and Barney Kofron. She was predeceased by her brother, Bernard Kofron, and sisters, Patricia LaRocca and Jacqueline Friend.

In the first few years of her life, Adrienne grew up in Old Brooklyn, on the west side of Cleveland, until her family moved east to University Heights. She graduated high school from Notre Dame Academy, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Sociology, from Notre Dame College in 1947. She married her husband, Tom, on July 10, 1948. They were married for 38 years until his passing in 1983.

While raising her six children, Adrienne also worked as in admissions at St. Anne's Hospital, and as a switchboard operator at Brentwood Hospital.

Adrienne was a woman of tremendous faith in Jesus, a faith she has passed on to her whole family. During her lifetime, she attended prayer groups, sang in the choir with her friends at F. A, worked in local ministry delivering food and did missionary work with her best friend, Willie Wright. Together, they traveled to Nigeria on a successful mission trip. Her first love was her family, both related and non-related, including every friend of her children and grandchildren, who came through the door of her home on Rushton Road. With her deep gift for nurturing, she raised not only her own children, but grandchildren, too.

She relied on God to provide and held down the fort on Rushton Road until she turned 93, at which time she became an independent resident of McGregor House, before transferring into The Gardens at age 97, where she was cared for by great nurses and staff and enjoyed her phone calls and visits from friends, family and anyone stopping by her room with a snack or milkshake in hand.

She was tremendously loved by all and will be deeply missed. She ran the race, and reached the goal, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Adrienne at SCHULTE & MAHON-FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD, IN LYNDHURST ON THURSDAY, JULY 31, FROM 3-7 P.M.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Gesu, 2470 Miramar Blvd., University Heights, on Friday, August 1, at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
