She was a member of the West Haven Mennonite Church in Brookston, Texas.
Agnes was a devoted homemaker.
Agnes was united in marriage to LeeRoy Schmidt on May 7, 1955 in York, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on March 14, 2024.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Schmidt (Cathi Austin) of Paris, TX, Randy (Adella) Schmidt of Ringwood, OK, Brad Schmidt of Tulsa, OK, and Kelly (Tracy) Schmidt of Ames, OK; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brothers, Glen (Sharon) Schmidt of Denver, CO, Delmar (Jolene) Schmidt of Fritch, TX, and Earl Schmidt of Branson, MO.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at West Haven Mennonite Church, Brookston, TX. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 15 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to West Haven Mennonite Church or Moundridge Manor in care of Moundridge Funeral Home, PO Box 410, Moundridge, KS 67107.
