Alan Antun Obituary

He was born in Baghdad, Iraq, on December 3, 1947, and was the son of the late Yousif Antun and Emma Khayatt.
Throughout his life he had a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. Alan enjoyed gardening and traveling, especially to the Hawaiian Islands. He was also a huge Celtics fan.
In addition to his loving wife, Alan leaves his daughter, Megan Antun of Nashville, TN, his three sisters, Alia Antoon of Massachusetts, Nimat Antoon of Florida, and Amel Antoon of Florida as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 4 pm – 7 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. His funeral services and interment will be held privately.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to The American Cancer Society at cancer.org. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Alan Y. Antun, please visit our Tree Store.

It is with a heavy heart that I jot these words of condolences about my beloved uncle Al. He was genuine in his interaction with those around him. He always extended his support and help everyone who reached out to him. He was well rounded in all aspects of life. He was updated on local and world news and affairs.He enjoyed entertaining relatives and friends. One of my fondest memories is when we visited him, and he took us on road trips and sang to us. One of his favorite son: you are my sunshine, my only sunshine. Every time I hear it it rekindles those joyful road trip memories with my beloved uncle Al.
