Alan Dubord Obituary

Alan Michael Dubord, 68, of South Windsor, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. He was born on August 3, 1956, in Hartford, one of five children to the late John and Anita (Ferri) Dubord.
Alan grew up in South Windsor and was a graduate of Cheney Tech High School, Class of 1975. Following high school, he began employment with Lewis Machine Co., in East Hartford, CT. While employed there, he took courses in computer programming, and upon completion, was hired by Aetna Insurance Company as a computer programmer. Alan also spent time with his family at E-Z Oil Company, Inc., as their office manager. When not working, Alan enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, boating, traveling, as well as lending a helping hand to family, friends, and neighbors with household remodels and tasks. Although our time with Alan has come to an end, his memory will be cherished in the hearts of all who knew him for years to come.
Alan is survived by his four siblings, Stephen Dubord and his wife Sandy of South Windsor, Karen Roberts and her husband Gary of Coventry, Robin Dubord of East Hartford, and Raymond Dubord of Bloomfield; and his nephew, Christopher Roberts and his wife Julie and their children, Griffin and Ethan of Coventry. Alan was predeceased by both of his parents.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Rd. (Rte 83) in Vernon, with a memorial service to begin at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. At the request of his family, burial will be held privately.
