Alan Wedeking Obituary

Alan was born July 10, 1951 in Stamford, Texas to Arnold "J. H." and Sarah Jo "Imogene" (Chaney) Wedeking. He was a lifetime resident Stamford. Alan graduated from Stamford High School and went on to graduate from Western Texas College studying Criminal Justice. Alan was a member of the First Baptist Church. He loved learning new things and was very adventurous, always wanting to see more and do more. He truly enjoyed ranching and farming and he took great care tending to his cattle. He loved his grandchildren this was his true passion.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Peggy Crawford.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son Zane Wedeking and Lucy of Stamford; daughter Jessica Lynn Baxter and Josh of Fort Worth; grandchildren Shalako, Annabel, Lillian, Elizabeth, Natalie, Lillian Marie and Michael; Uncle Paul Chaney of Midland; brother-in-law Mike Crawford of Coleman; nephew Duston Crawford and Magen of Coleman; and step daughter Leslie Blakely.
