Alberta Lorrain Pugh, 95, born May 17,1929, to Daisy and Gordon Ratcliff of Hillsboro Indiana, passed away peacefully April 19, 2025, at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville surrounded by her loving family. Alberta was the loving wife of Thomas L Pugh who passed away April 21, 2016.
God gifted her with many talents included painting landscapes, floral design after attending Herron School of Art and Design, antique collecting, bird watching and her favorite, gardening. More than the mentioned above she revered her family. She is survived by her four children, Michael (Linda) Pugh, David (Laura) Pugh, Rebecca (Andrew) Morgan and Jennifer (John) Cowart. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Our family would like to Thank all the staff at Wellbrooke and Elara Caring Hospice for all the love and care they have shown over the years.
Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care Waynetown, 202 Bratton Road, in Waynetown on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00am with Pastor Jeff Stedge officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Parke County Historical Society, PO Box 332, Rockville, IN 47872.
