Alex Adams Obituary

Alex Kevin Adams, 37, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2025.
Born on February 12, 1988, in Indianapolis, Alex was the beloved son of Larry K. and Susan M. Adams. A man of warmth and humor, Alex was deeply devoted to his family-especially his nieces and nephews, with whom he shared a vibrant and affectionate bond.
A natural creative, Alex possessed a keen and curious mind. He pursued life with an entrepreneurial spirit, always exploring new ideas and ventures. Most recently, he embraced the world of stand-up comedy, performing at open mic nights and sharing his sharp wit and unique perspective with others.
Alex was also a passionate traveler, with a profound love for the ocean and the tranquility it offered. His most cherished journey was a trip to Africa, a life-changing experience that filled him with wonder and gratitude.
Alex had a generous heart and a deep compassion for others. While living in South Carolina, he often spent his time feeding and caring for people experiencing homelessness-quiet acts of service that reflected his deep empathy and desire to help.
In quieter moments, Alex expressed himself through writing. He found solace in putting his feelings into words, reflecting deeply on the world and his place within it.
He is survived by his loving parents, Larry and Susan Adams; sisters, Adrienne (Jeremy) Crouch and Lindsey (Justin) Foutz; grandmother, Maria Adams; three nieces; six nephews; and many extended family members and friends who will remember his creativity, compassion, and fearless pursuit of joy.
A private graveside service will be held on July 18, 2025, at West Newton Cemetery.
