Alfonso Mendoza Obituary
On Saturday, October 21st, 2023, Alfonso F. Mendoza "Poncho", father, brother, son, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 60.
Alfonso was born April 20th, 1963 in El Paso TX to Ramon and Maria Josefina Mendoza. He worked many jobs, most recently in Landscaping. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and WWE spectator. As a kid he moved with his family from El Paso TX to Albuquerque NM in 1978 and eventually settled in Los Lunas NM. He had his daughters, Santana in 1987 and Veronica in 1993.
Alfonso was preceded in death by his mother Maria, father Ramon, and brother Jose "PePe" Mendoza.
He is survived by his Daughter Santana, and Veronica, granddaughters Abbey and Charlie, Sisters Maria, Julia, Hilda, and Lupe, and Brothers Raul, Lencho "Lobo", Manny, and Luis "Peanut", and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, starting at 3:00PM.
