Alfred Charles Harper, 78, of Dallas passed away on July 7, 2025, at Heath House in Lincolnton. He was born on July 22, 1946, to the late William Herman Harper and Margaret Walker Harper.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Garnetti Brown
Alfred loved going out to eat, and he was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He was a strong support for people that were in need especially his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to gospel music.
Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Alton “Buddy” Ray Harper (Pam), and Bert Harper (Glenda); sisters, Libby Harper Glance, and Martha Harper Henderson (Toney), and Yvonne Shore (Warren); along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 on July 10, 2025, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Darren Best officiating.
Alfred’s funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia, North Carolina.
