ALFREDA MARY (YOUNGERS) BOCK
Alfreda Mary (Youngers) Bock, 106, died July 13, 2025 at her home in Kingman that she shared with her daughter Marjean.
She was born April 4, 1919, at Willowdale, Kansas the daughter of Conrad E. and Anna Gehlen Miller. A lifetime resident of the Kingman community, she was a cook at St. Patrick School for eleven years and was a homemaker.
Alfreda was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella and the Altar Society, all of Kingman.
On April 29, 1941, she married Herman A. Youngers; he died Nov. 9, 1981. She later married Robert Bock and he preceded her in death. Survivors include sons Ron Youngers, Al Youngers, Chuck Youngers; daughters Marjean Ford, Rita Kinsler, Peggy Boroughs and Marietta Lyle; sister Leona Henning; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son David Youngers, granddaughter Sara Ratzenberger, sons-in-law Jack Ford and Chris Lyle;daughters-in-law Jan Youngers and Margaret Youngers, brothers Martin Miller, Marius Miller, Raymond Miller; sisters Sr. Mary Conrad Miller, Alice Miller and Mary Lou Riley.
Parish rosary will be 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Grade School and Traditions Hospice and may be mailed to Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman, KS 67068.
