Alice (Blackwell) Danner, born on February 27, 1938, passed away peacefully at home on July 25, 2025, at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of Ralph Danner, Jr. Alice spent most of her life in Delaware and was an active member of the Townsend Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the Frankford Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a devoted member of the Frankford Community Church.

Alice worked for the Banks Co. of Frankford, Delaware for 15 years before relocating to Tennessee with her husband Ralph, where they built a home and lived for 15 years. They eventually returned to Delaware to be closer to family and friends. Alice had a passion for traveling and fishing with Ralph, and she cherished spending time with her family and friends. She also loved engaging in arts and crafts.

She is survived by her sons Robert Murray, Jr. and his wife Maureen of Smyrna, Delaware; Kenneth Murray of Frankford, Delaware; Todd Murray and his wife Brenda of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; and Bryant Danner and his wife Santina of Dagsboro, Delaware. Alice is also survived by her six grandchildren, Robert "Buddy" Murray, III, Joshua Murray, Jamie Murray, Hunter Murray, Justin Murray, and Jade Poremski, along with two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Sydney. She leaves behind her sisters Alberta Kirk (Merritt) and Harriet Quillen, sister-in-law Virginia Blackwell, and many nieces and nephews.

Alice was predeceased by her parents, Allmond Blackwell and Adeline (Napier) Blackwell, her brother Ronald A. Blackwell, and her brother-in-law Robert Quillen.

A memorial service to celebrate Alice's life will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the Frankford Community Church, located at 2 Main St., Frankford, DE 19945.
