"It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35 Alice Roberta Gaitan passed away June 14, 2025, at the age of 66. She was born in East Los Angeles and a resident of Whittier. Although, Alice is gone, she will live in our hearts forever. She is survived by her husband, Paul J. Gaitan, her children, Steven Shears and wife Dominique, Brett Shears and wife Tracey, Belinda Hunhoff and husband Josh, Paul M. Gaitan and Vincent Gaitan; grandchildren, Parker and Moira Shears, Theo and Gabriel Shears, Blake, Broxton and Beckett Hunhoff and Aaliyah Gaitan; her mother, Alice Apodaca, sister Connie Flores, sister Belinda Basurto and brother John Apodaca.
