Alicia Jane McIntyre passed away Saturday, September 20th, 2025, surrounded by love.
Alicia was born August 20th, 1985, to Mr. Howard Vallimont and Mrs. Tammy Shelhamer Jaswa, in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Alicia loved brightness, color, and life. She enjoyed painting and gardening. She was often surrounded by beautiful flowers.
She was strong in her faith and wanted to share the loving grace of God with those around her. She lived a life of service to others by becoming a nurse. She worked with children, not only treating their injuries, but letting them know they were loved as well.
Of all the inspiring aspects of Alicia's life, the one she was most proud of was the life and love she built with her husband, Everett. Known as Brett to everyone but Alicia. Their life included her four favorite people in the world, her children, Emerson, Greyson, Lawson, and Everly. She was a devoted mother and truly enjoyed every moment spent with her family.
Alicia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Larry Shelhamer, Donald and Sarah Vallimont, and Richard and Shirley Cyr.
. She is survived by her loving husband, Everett McIntyre and their children, Emerson, Greyson, Lawson, and Everly McIntyre; her father, Howard (Melissa) Vallimont; mother, Tammy (Chris) Jaswa; sisters, Megan Lynn (Brandon) White, Jessica (Grady) Russell, Cassidy Turner, Megan Elizabeth (Cody) Albritton; grandmother, Nancy Shelhamer; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
One of Alicia's greatest gifts in life was her generous and giving spirit. In 2011, when her Aunt Toni and Uncle Brian hoped to start a family, Alicia selflessly donated her eggs to them. Because of her compassion and love, they were blessed with beautiful twins, Hailey and Aiden. They know that Alicia helped give them life, and they have cherished and loved her like a mother ever since. Her gift not only created new life, but also a bond of love that will live on forever.
To know Alicia was to love her. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. She was loved by many and will be missed deeply. She touched many lives and brightened them all. In honor of her vibrant life and love of colorful flowers, the family requests bright colors and florals be worn for services.
A visitation will be Friday, September 26th, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Poole Funeral Home in Woodstock, Georgia.
