Allen D. Jaszcar, affectionately known as Al, left the world a little dimmer with his passing on June 7, 2025. He will be forever cherished by Priscilla, his true love and devoted wife of almost sixty years.
Al and Priscilla's remarkable love story began in Puerto Rico, where Al was stationed with the U.S. Navy. Their paths crossed when he moved off-base to a home near hers, and the rest was history. They married and built a beautiful life together, raising two daughters, Jennifer and Melanie. Al was immensely proud of his daughters and their families. Jennifer and her husband Jason are parents to Logan and Gage, while Melanie and her husband Rick have two children, Carissa and Brandon.
Al was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Charlotte, and his brother, Clifton. He is survived by his beloved sister Patricia; his in-laws Ronald, Rosalie, Jeffrey, Wanda, Angel, and Karen along with their spouses; and many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
A true Renaissance man, Al lived fully and passionately. He found joy in a wide range of hobbies and pursuits, always embracing the present moment. His laugh was infectious, lighting up every room he entered, and his deep love for those around him was unmistakable. Al's presence and spirit will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone Al considered a friend and to all who shared in his life and joy.
