Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory, McAlester.
Allie Mae was born to Marion and Jenny Phillips on June 10, 1949 in Lumberton, North Carolina. She grew up in Lumberton where she graduated high school. Allie was an original Wal-Mart Employee in McAlester and she worked there for 12 years.
She retired from Tucker Energy in 2019. Allie was a member of the McAlester Elks Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Jenny Phillips and husband, Eddie Ray Helms.
Allie is survived by her sons, Shane Flint and wife, Karen, Eddie Gerganous and wife, Anita; daughter, April Meadows; Nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; her partner, Ed Dutton and numerous extended family members and friends.

Allie´s energy was contagious. Being "Mothers-in-Law" when visiting Shane & Karen´s home, I remember her calling me her bestie. She loved the grandchildren, who remember her best cooking, a skill she taught Shane..Thank you, Allie, for your light.

I worked with Allie when Walmart in McAlester first opened. She worked in fabrics and I was next door in shoes. She was always that bright cherrie light of happiness in that corner with all that fabric. That peppy happy personality will no doubt be a wonderful addition to Heaven.
