Alma Robinson Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 18, 2025.
With profound sadness and loving remembrance, we announce the passing of our beloved Alma Louise Robinson, who entered eternal rest on July 14, 2025.

Born April 3, 1959 to the late Ruthie Williams and Mose Croskey, Alma was a woman of deep faith, unwavering love, and boundless generosity. Her life was a living testament to compassion and service to others.

Alma leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in her (3)children: Monica Jefferson-Dicks, Marion Samuel, Phillip Dean, and in her (2)cherished bonus children: John James(Lacrecia) and Deshawn Robinson(Debrah).

Her spirit lives on in her (10) grandchildren:

Kenneth Dicks III, Kenon Dicks, Maranda Dicks, Mariah Dicks, Kahara Tarrell, Jamianna Dean, Ty'Jai Brown, Journie Brown, Jayvion James, Arianna James and (2) great-grandchildren: Kendalyn Dicks and Zayvin Dicks.

She also leaves behind her loving partner, Melvin Griffin Jr and was previously united in marriage to Dasata Robinson whose friendship will be everlasting.

She is lovingly remembered by her siblings:

Mary Mills( David Mills), Sandra Faye Jacob(Aaron Jocob), Loretta Robinson, Denise Hill, Lee Robinson, Wendy Robinson-Smith, Gail Croskey, and Patricia Walker.

Alma held close a host of aunts and uncles including; Lois, Pearl, Sallie, Catherine, Alberta, Jimmy and Jerry who nurtured her as their own throughout her life. She also held dear her cousins, and close friends-each of whom felt the warmth of her love and the strength of her faith.

Alma was known far and wide for her incredible love for cooking. Feeding others was not just something she enjoyed-it was her ministry. Her kitchen was always open to anyone. Whether it was family, friends, neighbors, or a stranger in need, Alma welcomed everyone with a warm plate and an even warmer heart.

Beyond her culinary talents, Alma had a deep passion for gospel music. She shared her gift of song with the world as a devoted member of "The Love of Faith" Gospel Group for many years. Through music, she traveled, lifting spirits and praising the Lord with an angelic voice that could stir souls and bring peace to hearts. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she carried it with grace and joy in every note she sang.

To know Alma was to be loved, fed, prayed for, and inspired. Her laugh was contagious, her smile unforgettable, and her presence irreplaceable.

Though she is no longer with us in body, Alma Louise Robinson's legacy will continue to live on in every song sung, every meal shared, and every heart she touched.

"Well done, good and faithful servant…" – Matthew 25:23
