Alrick "Rick" Francis Brown, age 71 of South Rockwood, sadly passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025.
He was a beloved husband to his wife, Deborah, for 47 years. Loving father to Melissa (Alex) Makarewicz and Scott (Erin) Brown. Proud Papa to Dylan, Rick, and Sophie. Devoted brother to late Howard, Karen, Millie, Richard, late Julia, and Rita. He was well loved by his nieces, nephews, cousins, church friends, and so many others.
Rick was a people-person. If you met him, you would know him as a "DIY" guy who would help anyone with a project. He could fix anything around the house and loved doing favors to fix things for others.
He was very proud of his church Evangel Baptist of Taylor, MI and spent many years in its service. Although retired, Rick was still working there part-time.
If he ever saw someone in need, Rick would make sure to take care of a bill, take them some donuts or a pie, or lend a helping hand.
He was incredibly proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed days spent doing landscaping, home projects, attending church, camping, vacationing, and playing with his grandkids... Rick loved his family.
He will be deeply missed.
