Amanda Renea Hines, age 64, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 2, 2025, following a long and courageous battle with health issues. She was surrounded by her devoted family in her final moments.
Visitation will be held from 1pm to 2pm at Boone Funeral Home on June 5th, 2025. Funeral services will follow at 2pm, also at Boone Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
Amanda was born on January 7, 1961, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Boyce and Louetta Pearson. Amanda was deeply devoted to her family and found immense joy in being a mother and grandmother. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, her father, and her brother-in-law.
Amanda is survived by her loving son, Robert Hines Jr., and his wife, Brittany; one cherished grandson, Ethan Hines; and four adored granddaughters: Emily, Alexia, Brianna, and Isabella Hines. She is also survived by her mother, Louetta Pearson; her sisters, Beverly Hall (Robert) and Diane Gilcrease (Bubba); her brother, LaDale “Bo” Pearson (Jackie); and dear family friends Connie and Frank Davis. Amanda leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and a host of treasured friends.
A special acknowledgment is given to her close and loyal friend, Charles, whose friendship, kindness, and presence brought Amanda great comfort and joy over the years.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice staff, and caregivers for their compassionate care and support during Amanda’s illness.
Amanda’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and grace. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
