Amber Boone Obituary

Camby, IN. – Amber Elizabeth (Young) Boone, 41, of Camby, Indiana, passed away, on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Amber was born, in Indianapolis, Indiana, on January 9, 1984, to Larry and Michele (Shumaker) Young. Larry affectionately called her "Weeble".
Amber was married to Adam Boone, on February 23, 2004, and he was the love of her life. Amber told her mother at the age of three that she was going to marry Adam Boone.
Amber's love for dogs began with their first dog, named Davidson. Amber was a dog trainer, specializing in Great Dane dogs. She took in rescue Great Danes, then provided foster care, training, and placement into new homes. Two of the Great Danes and an English Bull Dog (Avenue, Jane and Huey), found a place in Amber and Adam's heart. They fell in love with them and adopted them. She will be missed by many in this dog training world.
Amber attended Indianapolis Baptist Temple and graduated from Greenwood Christian Academy. She received a bachelor's degree in business from Indiana Tech. She grew up attending Thompson Road Baptist Church where she served in the bus ministry and the 4–5-year-old classes.
Amber is survived by her husband of 21 years, Adam Boone; parents, Larry and Michele Young; siblings, Joseph Young (Amanda); Anthony Young (Brittany); Michelle Banda (Harrison); Crystal Herthel (Cory); Heather Eggers; grandmother, Vickie Eggers; several nieces and nephews; 3-fur babies, Huey, Avenue, and Jane.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clifford Shumaker, Tenna Young, and John H. Young.
A visitation will be held on July 14th, 2025, from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., at Jessen Funeral Home & Simple Cremation, Whiteland Chapel, located at 729 N. U.S. Hwy. 31 Whiteland, In. 46184 with the funeral service immediately following.
