Mrs. Amy Christie Ewing Buckingham, age 57 of Sharon Grove, passed away 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Services will be 12 Noon, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Latham Funeral Home. The burial will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon Wednesday at Latham Funeral Home. The service will be live streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com. Amy was born June 2, 1967, in Elkton. She was retired from Western State Hospital where she was a Fiscal Services Accountant. She loved to read and visit with friends online. Amy had a special love for animals, especially her dogs, Skipper, Duke and Winchester. She was a supporter of Max's Hope Pet Rescue, and the family would ask that donations be given to them at 105 Metcalfe Drive, Hopkinsville, KY 42240. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Eunice Mae Johnson Ewing, her husband, Robert Stewart Buckingham Sr. Survivors include her son, Robert Stewart Buckingham Jr. of Lexington, KY, her daughter, Ashley Buckingham Hontz and her husband Robert III of West End, NC, her sisters, Stephanie Latham Moss of Murfreesboro, TN and Devona Ewing Latham of Sharon Grove, her three grandchildren, Reagan Buckingham, Sawyer Buckingham and Reid Hontz, also several nieces and nephews.
