Andrew Henry (Hank) Corsentino left us on June 25, 2025 to join Mary Alice (Tangney) Corsentino, his beloved wife of 62 years, his son Paul Corsentino, his parents Charlie and Rose (Ponzi) Corsentino and his sister Lennie (Corsentino) Kakalecik in their heavenly home. He is survived by his brother Joe C. Corsentino of Walsenburg and his sister Charlotte Corsentino of Canon City along with numerous nieces & nephews.
Hank was born May 31, 1938 in Walsenburg, Colorado where he spent most of his life, graduating from St. Mary's High School in 1956. Married the love of his life, Mary Alice Tangney on December 28, 1956. They had four children – Abbie L. (Roger) Duroux, Paul A. Corsentino, Charlie C. (Robin) Corsentino and Mark A.(Lisa) Corsentino. He has seven grandchildren - Jessica N.Corsentino, Reagan L. Corsentino-Grant, Andrea R. Duroux, Derek (Jessica) Corsentino, Alyssa J. (Jake) Duroux-Horner, Nathan P.(Jamie) Corsentino, Madi Cody, and 2 great-grandchildren Tatum (Jessica N.), Baby (Derek & Jessica) Corsentino.
Working beside his brother Joe, they built Corsentino Dairy Farm, a very successful business on Hwy. 10 east of Walsenburg. He served on the national board of Dairy Farmers of America for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman, Colorado award-winning silhouette shooter and archer. If anyone in the area had a varmint problem, they knew who to call.
His dedication to the betterment of his community was strong. He served as Huerfano County Commissioner in the late 1970s. He was a long-time member of the St. Mary's Cemetery board. He served on the Huerfano County Fair Board. He was instrumental in the construction of the 4-H barn and arena in LaVeta. As a former 4-Her, he was an avid supporter of local 4-H clubs. He provided for, loved and cared for his family and spent much time giving back to his community.
Services will be held Tues., July 8, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Walsenburg beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial service at the St. Mary's N. Cemetery and reception at Delany Hall behind St. Mary's Church.

My family have so many wonderful memories of Hank over our 40 years of friendship. We had so many great times together in the outdoors. He was a grand father to our son Adam. Hank made Adam a bow that he displays in house and to this day shoots in Hanks honor.
We will miss Hank.
Condolences to his family from our family.
