Andrew Longoria Obituary

Andrew Longoria, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the age of 80. Visitation will be from 9 AM until 9 PM on Friday with a vigil service at 7 PM at Myers & Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10 AM on Saturday at Myers & Smith Chapel.

Born on June 27, 1945, in San Antonio, Texas, to Luis Longoria and Elida Flores, Andrew was raised in Big Spring, where he nurtured a deep passion for family and community.

He spent 50 years in California, where he cultivated lasting friendships and cherished memories, before returning to his roots in Big Spring in 2009. A devoted fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Andrew held season tickets and shared his enthusiasm for the game with family and friends. His great sense of humor and warm spirit brought joy to all who knew him, and he had a special place in his heart for animals, particularly his beloved dogs.

Andrew's zest for life was evident in his love of gambling, often found at the craps table with a twinkle in his eye. He was adored by his grandson, Jeremy Longoria, and his legacy of love and laughter will live on through his wife, Adelinda Longoria; his sons, Robert Longoria and Gilbert Longoria; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Raul Longoria; and sister, Mary Lou Rivas.
