With heavy hearts Andres L. Villalba, 65, passed away July 5, 2025, at the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center in Safford. He was born in Lordsburg, NM to Francisco Villalba and Ramona Lopez Villalba.
Andy was a hardworking man in the Ironwork industry with at least 45 years, as he called it punking rebar. He slowly worked up to a foreman running jobs from everything from Dams- bridges to highrises. Building America as they say. He was very proud of what he did.
Andy loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and entertaining grandchildren.
Andy is survived by: his wife, Diana (Bowman) Villalba; his daughter, Cassie Malaine Villalba; and son, Garrett Andrew Villalba (Bianca Vasquez); his three grandchildren, Treyson Gaige Villalba, Layla Millie Villalba, and Axel Lincoln Villalba. Added bonuses; Riley Taylor, Landon Peters, Layla Vasquez, Michelle Vasquez, Jaxx Vasquez, and Jordan Vasquez; brothers, Ernesto Villalba, Mike Villalba, Mario Villalba, and Jimmy Villalba; sisters, Lupe Villalba and Frances Villalba; along with many nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by: baby brother, Franco Villalba; his father, Francisco Villalba; and his mother, Ramona Lopez Villalba.
Funeral services for Andy will be conducted Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., at Vining Funeral Home's "Chapel of the Valley." Concluding services will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Friday afternoon, July 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., and the praying of the rosary will be at 2:00 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Andy, please visit our floral store.
