Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford
Mrs. Angela "Angie" Geotes Hilton, 67, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. There will be a private family memorial service at a later date. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Angie was born on April 14, 1958, in Jackson, MS. Throughout her life, Angie was always such a caring and loving person. She had a personality that could light up the room, and she had a way of making others feel like they were at home around her. Angie embodied the definition of free spirited, and her love knew no bounds. You would often find her dancing and listening to music or cooking with the most infectious smile on her face. She also enjoyed gardening in her free time. Above all, Angie loved her family, and her son and grandchildren were her true pride and joy. She will truly be missed by all who know her.
Mrs. Angie is survived by her loving son, Sam (Brooke) Pumphrey of Canton, MS; her mother, Betty Richards of Washington D.C.; one granddaughter, Madison Cranford of Atlanta, GA; three grandsons, Keagan Pumprey of Warner Robbins, GA, and Sam Pumphrey and Asher Pumphrey, both of Canton; her sister, Tracey (Stephen) Peranich of Washington D.C.; her brother, Charles Wright of Bay St. Louis, MS; and a host of extended family members.
Mrs. Angie was preceded in death by her father, Harry Geotes.
Online condolences may be left on her Tribute Wall at www.colemanfuneralhomeox.com.
