Angie Blackmon Obituary

Angie Lynn Blackmon, age 49, of Biscoe died on June 24, 2024 at Moore Regional Hospital.

Angie was born on July 23, 1974, in Montgomery County.  She was employed by Moore County Finance in Carthage.

Angie will be lovingly remembered as a person who had a hug for everyone she met and her beautiful smile. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and aunt who greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. Her son was her most precious pride and joy. She was his greatest supporter in sports and she was a dedicated North Carolina Tar Heels fan.

Angie is survived by her beautiful son Braydon Blackmon of the home; her parents Ronnie and Karen Smith of Biscoe; brothers Gary Blackmon and wife Janet of Troy; David Smith and wife Jennifer of New London and Dale Smith and wife Sherry of Chesterfield, SC. As well as nieces and nephews Austin, Anthony, Kenzie, Shelby and Gracie. She was preceded in death by her beautiful niece, Raegan Blackmon.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Lighthouse Ministries/Candor Presbyterian Church, 103 W Ewing Street, Candor, NC at 11:00 am with Rev. Joyce and Neal Parsons officiating. The family will be receiving friends prior to the service from 10:00-10:45 am at the church.
