Ann Jankowski Obituary

Ann Maria (Westerham) Jankowski, age 78, of Cloquet, Minnesota passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025. She was born on January 13, 1947, to Dennis and Leah (Siivola) Westerham in Cloquet where she was raised and attended school. Following her graduation, Ann furthered her education in Brainerd and St. Cloud, where she studied to become a dental hygienist. She worked for three years in the St. Cloud area. Ann was united in marriage to Richard Lemmerhirt and they were blessed with two children. In order to follow Dick's career, the couple relocated to Brainerd in 1970. Ann worked as a secretary in various local offices. One of her favorite jobs was at Marv Koeps Bait & Tackle, where she enjoyed her time and met so many people. Ann was employed with Tanner Motors before eventually moving back to Cloquet to care for her mother. She was united in marriage to James Jankowski and the two remained in Cloquet.

In her spare time, Ann loved to read, camp, and fish. Her vibrant personality will not be forgotten. Ann carried a strong faith and confidence in the promise of her final place of rest in Heaven.

Ann's family includes her children, Bill (Nicole) and Charlie Lemmerhirt, as well as their step-siblings, Kamille, Kristina, Kandice, and Teddy (d. 1989); grandchildren, Cruz, Reese, and Rhett; and cousin, Cathy (Stan Miller) Polvi. Others that have preceded Ann in death include her parents; first husband, Dick Lemmerhirt and second husband, Jim Jankowski; and brother-in-law, Bill Lemmerhirt.

No public services will be held. Interment will be at New Calvary Cemetery in Cloquet. Ann's care has been entrusted to Nelson Funeral Care.
