Ann Rogers Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 4, 2025.
With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Ann Elizabeth Rogers (Lundquist) on September 27, 2025, age 66. Preceded in death by her parents, Bror Eric and Gerda Anna Margareta (Jansson) Lundquist; brother, John; sister, Katherine (Konow); brother-in-law, Gary; parents-in-law, George "Buck" and Julie Rogers; and sister-in-law, Kimberly. She is survived by her husband, James; sons, Niklas, James-Mikael (Heather), and Markus (Emma); daughter, Kirsten (Robert) Hearnes; grandson, Atticus; brother-in-law, Tom (Donna) Rogers; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Ann Lundquist. She was deeply loved by extended family, including two cousins, four nieces, one nephew, five great-nieces, and two great-nephews.
She was the center of warmth, friendliness and comfort in a home with doors that were always open. She played piano accompaniment in joyful caroling every Christmas Eve with her extensive family and close friends who loved her beyond measure. She worshiped faithfully for 29 years at Orchard Lake Community Church, and Mt. Zion Church for 37 blessed years. Her family was everything. As a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, she prepared home-cooked meals with love and brought laughter and joy to family gatherings. She filled rooms with music, as well as the occasional "erg". A source of encouragement and advice, she was always brave enough to say what needed to be said. Guided by a deep faith in Jesus her Savior, hers was a generosity of spirit and selfless hospitality and inexhaustible love of family rarely found in this world. The devotion she modeled and the faithfulness she instilled in us will live on with appreciation and deep gratitude.
Ann Rogers' Celebration-of-Life Gathering will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, with the Memorial Service beginning at 11:00 AM, on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Mt. Zion Church, 4900 Maybee Rd., Village of Clarkston, MI 48348. Feel free to share.
