Anna Bell McGlocklin Bradley, 85, of Whitewright, Texas, peacefully passed away on June 16, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on February 15, 1940, in Farmersville, Texas, Anna was the daughter of the late Henry McGlocklin and Cleta Hales McGlocklin. After graduating from South Oak Cliff High School in 1958, she enjoyed a 32-year career with Fidelity Deposit Company of Maryland, retiring as Accounting Manager.
Anna's life was marked by strength, resilience, and renewal. She and Ronald Lee Bradley, Sr. shared two children and, later in life, rekindled their relationship and remarried.
She had a zest for life that was impossible to miss. Anna loved to dance and spent countless joyful hours with her mother-in-law, Juanita Bradley, taking ballroom and square dancing lessons. She was an active member of the Yellow Rockers Singles Square Dancing Club, and anyone who knew her would hear her proudly tell stories of her dancing days, complete with handmade dresses and petticoats in every color imaginable each one sewn by her own hand, a skill lovingly taught to her by her mother.
For her grandchildren, visiting Grandma's house in Rowlett, where she lived for many wonderful years was pure magic. They have the best memories of running and playing through the long hallway and living room, twirling and laughing in her square-dance skirts. They spent countless cozy afternoons watching Disney movies with bowls of mini marshmallows and her perfectly cut hotdogs.
Family was truly the center of Anna's life. She handmade Halloween costumes for her children and grandchildren each year. Her handcrafted costumes for the children's Christmas programs at church are still being used today. She shared many peaceful hours with her family working on stamp collections and genealogy. She deeply valued her friendships. She stayed close with her high school classmates through reunions and gatherings with the Red Hat Society, where her quick wit and spunky spirit always shone.
She is survived by her brother Tommy McGlocklin and wife Sandy; her daughter Vicki Leann Smith and husband Joe; her daughter-n-law Oria Bradley; her beloved grandchildren Caitlin Bradley, Courtni Bradley, and bonus grandchildren Jamie Crawford and husband Kennan, Jennie Smith and husband Rob, and Jill Smith; and her precious
great-grandchildren Max Bradley and Sadie Crawford. She also leaves behind many dear nieces and nephews: Carol McGlocklin, Ann Russell, Jessie Arbelo, Tommie Sue Swiney, Tanya Esner, Kevin McGlocklin, Cedar McDaniels, Wendy Bradley, Sondra Bradley, Kristi Bradley, and Mark Bradley.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald Lee Bradley Sr.; her brother Andy McGlocklin; her sister Mickey Pollock; her brother-in-law John Bradley; her sister-in-law Joanna Brown; her mother-in-law Juanita Bradley; her son Ronnie Bradley; and her grandson Zackery Donihoo.
Her joyful spirit, love of family, and favorite phrase, "It is well with my soul", will live on and give peace to all who knew her and if heaven has a jukebox, surely an Elvis song is playing, and Anna is dancing once again.

I just learned of Anna´s passing! Such a sweet person and friend. We attended several churches together, square danced in the same clubs and she was a great team member of mine when we sold Tupperware together. Thank you Anna for the great times and I miss you. Debbie Robertson
