Anna Trulli, born in Chicago, Illinois to Lina (Sansonetti) and Giulio, Ms.Trulli was educated at St. Bartholomew School and Alvernia High School there prior to moving to
Haverstraw, NY. She graduated from Fordham University School of Education with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and from New York University with a Master of Arts Degree. She worked for the Rockland County Times in Haverstraw and F. Schumacher & Co. in New York City while attending both schools. She began her career at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, then worked for New York State's Executive Department office of Transportation, now known as the New York State Department of Transportation. She also worked for the New York State Office of Planning Services, State Division of Human Rights, State Office of Mental Health and for Edwards and Kelcey, a private consulting firm in New Jersey. Ms.Trulli was a cantor and choir member of St. Augustine's Church in New City and St. Peter's Church Choir in Haverstraw for seventeen years, and a member of St. Paul & St. Ann Church Choir in Congers, NY. She was also a member of the Rockland County Catholic Choir for 13 years and a member of the Rockland County Choral Society for 12 years. Other Church activities included teaching religion to public school children in the Religious Education Program, for 12 years at St. Peter's Church in Haverstraw and later at St. Paul's Church in Congers for 17 years. She was a Lector, and Eucharistic Minister at St. Peter & St. Mary's Church for 23 years. Ms.Trulli was a member of Court Joan of Arc No. 604, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, since 1990, having served as Financial Secretary, Vice Regent and Regent. She was appointed a District Deputy in 2005. In that position she was instrumental in establishing Court Mary Help of Christians, No. 2571 at St. Paul's Parish in Congers. She served as State Leadership Chair (Membership and Extension) and appointed Archdiocesan Membership Chair. She was also a member of the Archdiocesan Past Regent's Chapter of the Catholic Daughters, a member of the St. Peter's Altar and Rosary Society and the Haverstraw Senior Citizens. She is survived by three godchildren, and many cousins throughout the United States. She is survived by numerous second and third cousins. Anna is predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Giulio Trulli, sisters, Anna and Fina, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Trulli, Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Sansonetti, her many aunts, uncles and cousins; Judith Perico, Kenneth Weissman, Nicholas Fiore, Joan Trulli, Vincent Cacioppo, Victor Raimondi, John Fiore, and Harry Trulli.. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 PM & 6:00-8:00 PM at the George M. Holt Funeral Home, 50 New Main Street,
Haverstraw, NY 10927. Court Joan of Arc No, 604 Catholic Daughters of the Americas will hold a wake service and rosary at 3:00PM. On Thursday, January 16, 2025. Anna's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Peter & St. Mary Church, 115 Broadway,
Haverstraw, NY 10927. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery,
Haverstraw, NY.
