Annette Marie Block
101, of Appleton, passed away Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024, at her residence. She was born on April 28, 1923, in Seymour, WI to the late Julius and Dorothea (Seefeldt) Ziesemer. Annette was employed at Foxland Harvestore, Inc. and retired in 1992. She was a lifelong member of First English Lutheran Church in Appleton.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Craig (Barbara) Block, Appleton; two grandchildren: Amanda (Tom) Campbell and Andrew (Danielle) Block both of Appleton; 5 great grandchildren: Brayden, Addy & Bentley Campbell and William and Elizabeth Block all of Appleton; sister-in-law, Virginia Ziesemer, Appleton; 3 nephews: Bruce (Marie) Ziesemer, Appleton; Robert (Donna) Ziesemer, Appleton and Kevin (Sheila) Ziesemer, Hortonville; 4 nieces: Renee Edbrooke, Appleton; Gwen (Edward) Paulson, River Falls; Sharon (Dave) O'Bright, Crandon and Pamela Parlin, Wausau.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers: Dan, Gordon, Alvin, Wilbert and LeRoy; 4 sisters: Della, Zipora, Esther and Evelyn.
Services for Annette will be held at 11 AM, on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, at First English Lutheran Church, Appleton (downtown) with Rev. Mary Bauer officiating. Friends and family can visit at the church prior to the service from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
