Annette C. Puckett, 90, of McLeansville, went home on October 22, 2023.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Hope River Church with Pastor Larry Pope and Pastor Larry Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home.
Annette was born in Guilford County to the late Roy Calhoun and Lucille Calhoun. She was a wonderful mama, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She worked at Southern Webbing Mill for over 30 years.
In addition to her parents, Annette was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Billy Ray Puckett, her granddaughter Angel Puckett; her siblings Leo Calhoun, Harold Calhoun, Jerry Calhoun and Sue Martin.
She is survived by her son Bobby Puckett and wife Kathy; daughters Billie May and husband Edward; Betty Brantley and husband Gene; Brenda McMath and husband Frank; Bonnie Griffin; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother Elwood Calhoun and wife Betty; special grandson and caregiver Dylan Griffin. The family would also like to thank Dora and Aimee, Annette’s caregivers; Palliative Care and Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope River Church, 4355 High Rock Road, Gibsonville, NC 27249.
