Annie Buelin Collins, 82, passed away on Saturday June 28, 2025 at Woltz Hospice Home. She entered into eternal rest peacefully and is rejoicing in the arms of Jesus. She was born February 8, 1943 in Surry County to the late Harley and Bessie Marshall Buelin. Mrs. Collins enjoyed gardening, canning, sitting on her porch, and visiting with friends and family. She also enjoyed being a tobacco farmer for many years with her late husband, Thomas “Tom” Collins. Additionally, she was preceded in death by her parents; siblings J.D. Buelin, Charles Buelin, Mary Yarboro, and Harlene Swaim. Surviving is her brother Delmar Buelin; several nieces and nephews. Annie did not have children, but she loved her nieces and nephews and their children like her own. She was especially close to her niece, Loretta Yarboro Andrews, who provided loving care to Annie. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM Sunday July 6, 2025 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. Her funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM following the visitation in the Gentry Family Chapel by Donnie Yarboro. Burial will follow at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Woltz Hospice Home for the loving care given to Mrs. Collins. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Collins family.
